My name is Sarah, I have a mild obsession with makeup, my boyfriend would probably say that I am underestimating my obsession. I just recently started makeup tutorials on Youtube. If you are interested in makeup and have not seen the huge makeup community that exists on Youtube then I suggest that you go and check it out. You can see videos on how to create the perfect smokey eye or reviews on products that you were thinking about buying but dont know the pro’s and con’s. I am not sure how I stumbled upon Youtube makeup videos but sure keeps me occupied when I have some time to kill. My boyfriend tends to look at me like I am nuts when I watch makeup videos for hours haha. There are also videos called hauls where Youtubers showcase
se products that they bought and show the products, swatches and price. I find these really helpful because I see many products that I over look in the store. I will link some of my favorite Youtubers in the links below.
Anyway, back to me. I had no idea how to put on makeup until 6 months ago which is pretty sad considering I am 24 years old. I would only wear blush and some lip gloss and go out the door. The first foundation I bought was Bare Minerals and after that I was hooked. I am in no way good at makeup, I am still learning, so I decided to create a blog explaining the whole makeup learning process and the products that I like or dislike. I hope that this will help some makeup newcomers like myself.
Another hobby of mine is video gaming. I know that video games and makeup really dont seem like a good combination but I love it! The main game that I play is Counter-Strike. Counter-Strike is a first person shooter where there are bad guys vs good guys pretty much. I was introduced to the game by an ex-boyfriend, he showed me how to play and I was hooked. I think the aspect that made me love the game was the fact that you are actually playing against real people across the country, its not like old school video games where you either have to play with someone sitting next to you or against the computer. There is a huge underground online video game community, mostly filled with males -_-. I have made so many great friends all across the country that I meet up with when I go to video game tournaments. If you are a girl and think that video games are for guys only you are wrong, there are a lot of girly girl make up geeks like myself that play :].
